"Motion comic generator" can mean very different tools. Some animate a panel you already drew. Some animate a whole manga page in reading order. Others start from a script, or generate new art from a text prompt. The best choice depends on what you are starting with and what you want to end up with.
A note before we start: Comik AI is our product. To keep this comparison fair, the descriptions of the other tools are based on what each tool says on its own website, checked in October 2026, not on our own testing. Features change often, so check each site before you decide. We do not list prices for the same reason.

What should you look for in an AI motion comic generator?
- What it starts from. Your own panel, a full page, a script, or a text prompt. This matters more than anything else.
- Whether it keeps your art. If you drew the comic, the characters and line work should stay recognizable instead of being redrawn.
- Voices. Whether characters can speak their dialogue, and whether you can choose a different voice for each character.
- Sound effects and music. Whether they are generated with the video or added later in a separate editor.
- Color. Whether black-and-white manga can be colored as part of the animation.
- Length and sequencing. Whether the tool animates one shot at a time or assembles a multi-panel sequence for you.

Tool-by-tool breakdown
Comik AI
Best for: animating a panel or page you already have, with each character speaking their dialogue.
You upload one comic, manga, or webtoon panel, or a full page with several panels, and choose an animated style: Original Art keeps your art exactly as drawn, and Auto Color adds color to black-and-white manga as it is animated. For a full page, the Multi-Panel versions of both turn each panel into a scene and play the scenes in story order as one video. The dialogue in the speech bubbles becomes spoken lines. You pick voices from the Voice Library or upload your own with Use Local Voice, then assign each voice to a character with @ mentions in the prompt. Sound effects and background music can be added to match the scene.
Keep in mind: each video covers one panel or one page, up to 30 seconds long depending on the model. For a longer story across several pages, generate each page and edit the clips together. Motion comic videos are generated with credits on a paid plan.
LlamaGen
Best for: animating finished manga pages and panel sequences in reading order.
According to its manga-to-video page, you upload pages or panels in their original right-to-left order, and the animation follows the page's panel order and reveals. The page says screentones, speed lines, and line work stay part of the look. Japanese is preselected as the voice language and can be changed, and the default output is a 16:9 promotional sequence that can be reframed for vertical formats.
Keep in mind: the page focuses on sequences of existing panels. It does not describe a coloring feature.

Pexo
Best for: finished, narrated episodes, especially if you need several languages.
According to its manga video page, you can describe a scene, upload your own panels, or work from a script, and mix these in one project. The page says Pexo generates narration and character lines, can clone your own voice, and can dub the same video into other languages with subtitles that stay in sync. It assembles the shots into a sequence without a timeline editor.
Keep in mind: the manga video page describes a black-and-white manga look and does not mention color options.

Dreamina
Best for: quick animated manga clips from a drawing or a text prompt.
Dreamina is from CapCut. Its animated manga page says it can turn drawings into videos with audio, starting from a reference image or a text prompt, and automatically match sound effects, dialogue, and background music to the scene. The page also describes an upscale feature for sharper results.
Keep in mind: the page does not describe choosing a specific voice for each character.

AniKuku
Best for: script-first projects where the same characters appear across many shots.
According to its motion comic guide, AniKuku turns a script into a structured production project. Shots are linked to reusable character and scene assets, storyboards set the visual plan, and shots are generated one by one and then assembled. The guide says it keeps characters and scenes consistent while turning panels into an animated episode with voice and sound.
Keep in mind: the guide gives few details about how voices and sound are set up.

Morphic
Best for: creators who want to generate new manga-style art and animate it.
According to its motion comic guide, you generate manga-style images from text prompts in Morphic's Canvas, using a Manga style model or a custom style model you trained. You then animate each image in Video Mode and combine the clips in a video editor.
Keep in mind: the guide suggests adding background music and sound effects during editing, and does not describe voice generation.

- You need narration, subtitles, or dubbing into other languages: Pexo.
